What is SLT?

Selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT) is a laser surgery treatment intended for patients whose front part of the eye’s drainage system is open, referred to as primary or secondary open-angle glaucoma. Applying laser energy to the drainage tissue, the eye is able to more effectively and easily drain, resulting in lower intraocular pressure and clearer vision.
